![]() A quintessential 17th Century Inn set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, at the bottom of a steep valley next to Bow Creek and bridge. The Inn has been used as a smithy, a brew house, petrol station, a prison and a haunt for the feared press gangs. The area was recorded in the Domesday book. Please use the links on the left or below to navigate this site, thanks for looking and Welcome to The Waterman's! Now the REALLY GOOD news, as we are at sea level at the bottom of this beautiful valley your mobile phone WILL NOT WORK, really, next to no signal at all, in fact; Orange nothing until you get to Ashprington, Three, not until you get to Totnes, T Mobile some signal in the back car park and for some strange reason in the wash up, Vodaphone some signal next to the river, but really why would you? All rooms have telephones so relax, put the phone in your room and forget about work.
The Inn and grounds do have FREE Wi-Fi so you can check your mail,
